iPhoto '11 - GPS map not working

I have iPhoto '11 version 9.4 on my iMac 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 - Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63)

The Places Map has stopped functioning in the last few weeks and I cannot get information about individual photos. I make Photobooks and made great use of this facility.

Has anyone any idea how to fix this?
